ABOUT CHOPP IT UP
Chef John Capers has been in and out of NYC restaurants since he was fourteen years old, refining technical skill while developing his voice as a chef. Now, being surrounded by a culinary media empire built that undervalues and exploits BIPOC chefs, John Capers and Adam Coy are setting out to reclaim the kitchen and make food for the people, by the people. CHOPP IT UP is an Egg & Spoon miniseries that follows John and Adam as they cook dishes that speak to their community, discuss their origins, and fuse food/technique from different cultures to create something new.
