Jillian Wipfler

Jillian is from Southbury, CT and a recent graduate from Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting. Recent credits include: ABSOLUTELY (Women in Theatre Festival NYC), A FLEA IN HER EAR (Syracuse Drama), DOG SEES GOD (The Loft Theatre), and ANNABEL DRUDGE AND THE SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL (Syracuse Stage Children's Tour). Jillian is currently the Outreach Associate for Egg & Spoon, and is a co-founder of Play Readers Collective.

Kelsey Presnall

Kelsey, originally from Kansas, earned a BA in Theatre from Drury University. She is new to the New York theatre scene and is thrilled to be a part of this Egg & Spoon Theatre Collective production! Previous regional theatre credits include Little Red Ridinghood in BABES IN TOYLAND, Scout in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, a Player in PIPPIN, Merriman in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, and Jake in LEAP OF FAITH.

Christine Liu

Christine is a New York raised actor who has lived in Los Angeles and in Europe. She has trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, École Philippe Gaulier, Steppenwolf Classes West and UCB. Credits include ROMEO & JULIET, BALM IN GILEAD, DEAR BRUTUS, and THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES.

Elizabeth Carson

Originally from New Orleans, Elizabeth is a recent graduate of Syracuse University's musical theatre program. Recent credits include: NINE (Lina) at SU Drama, A LITTLE NIGHT'S MUSIC (Mrs. Nordstrum) at SU Drama, AGAMEMNON (Chorus u/s Cassandra) and THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD.

Shoshana Canali

Kathryn Bailey & Alex Petersen

Kathryn (COSTUME DESIGN) is a New York City based costume designer originally from Newburgh, IN. Some of her recent theater design work is A Dream Play (Egg and Spoon 2018),  Pharmabro An American Douchsical(Players Theater 2017),  Orphans and Outsiders (The Araca Project NYC 2016), and Gruesome Playground Injuries (Alchemical Theater NYC 2016). Some of her other professional credits in New York City include working on the Broadway design teams for Frozen,  Hamilton: An American Musical, currently on Broadway, Chicago and San Francisco Tour (2015-Present),  National Broadway Tour of Newsies  (2014-Present). Alex (SET DESIGN)  is a NYC based set designer, originally from New Jersey. Scenic designs include: A Dream Play (Egg & Spoon), The Phillie Trilogy (Fresh Fruit Festival), Rock and Roll Refugee (Royal Family Productions), Take the Car (Williamstown Theatre Festival Professional Training Program), Parade (Syracuse University), The Pillowman (Black Box Players), Salome (Black Box Players). She’s the winner of Outstanding Scenic Design for the Fresh Fruit Festival (2017), and the Marcia Mohr Award for Outstanding Female in Dramatic Arts (2015). BFA in Design and Technology from Syracuse University.

Greg Folsom

Greg (LIGHTING DESIGN)  is a Lighting Designer, based in New York City. He is a graduate of Syracuse University, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology.  As a theatre enthusiast, he enjoys watching the performances as much as he enjoys working behind the scenes.

Liam "Lonny" Lonegan

Lonny (SOUND DESIGN) has served as the sound designer for every production of Egg & Spoon's first season. Other sound design credits include Black Box Player's production of 123: A Play About Abandonment and Ballroom Dancing. 

 

PRODUCTION

Timothy Gage (PRODUCTION MANAGER) is a new addition to Egg & Spoon's core staff and is excited to serve as the Production Manager for The Jersey Devil Doesn't Exist.

Outside of Egg & Spoon Timothy works administratively at The Public Theater, teaches theatre and dance, and works on the front of house staff at New York Theatre Workshop. Following Jersey Devil he will be opening a teen production of Godspell that he is assistant directing and then going up to Stagedoor Manor to teach for the summer.

 

Sarah Altman (STAGE MANAGER) is very excited to be working with Egg & Spoon on their final production of their inaugural season! Selected credits include- Off/ Off-Off Broadway: Jersey Boys, All The Fine Boys, Poor Behavior, In Love with the Arrow Collar Man. Regional: Sex with Strangers (Westport Country Playhouse); Parade, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Ghost: The Musical, Oklahoma! (Merry-Go-Round Playhouse). Events/ Other: The Town Hall Ensemble Presents City Suite, Frank Silvera Writer's Workshop Reading Nameegie. Currently she is also a Production Management Assistant at the Manhattan School of Music, and will be returning to the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in May as an ASM.  BA in Theatre Arts from the State University of New York at New Paltz.  Love and thanks to my parents for supporting me in this endeavor! smsarahaltman.com 

Jess Honovich (PLAYWRIGHT) is a playwright, screenwriter and educator from Southern New Jersey. Her work has been produced and workshopped by Dezart Performs, Longwood University, New York University, the New York Transit Museum, the Paw Paw Village Players, Festival51, Project Y, and the Pittsburgh Opera. She is a current LABA Artist Fellow, a 2017 O'Neill National Playwrights Conference Finalist for her play Giant Slalom,a 2017 Heideman Award finalist for her play Hardware, a 24 Plays: Nationals alum, a recipient of the Mary Marlin Fisher Award for Excellence in Playwriting, and a 2016 Theatre Masters winner for her short play No More Monsters, which had productions in Aspen and New York City and is available at Samuel French. 

She holds a B.S. from New York University in Educational Theatre and a minor in Dramatic Literature and an MFA in Dramatic Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. Learn more about Jess by visiting her website. 

 

Liam Lonegan (DIRECTOR & PRODUCER) is the founder and Artistic Director of Egg & Spoon Theatre Collective. Previous directing credits include Egg & Spoon's MorningAbsolutely by Kathleen Kennedy at the Women In Theatre Festival, and 123 produced by the Black Box Players. He is the 2018 Directing Fellow at Westport Country Playhouse. 

Liam sleeps in an actual closet so that Egg & Spoon can have an office.

Bryn Dolan (PRODUCER & CASTING DIRECTOR)  is a founding member of Egg & Spoon and the collective's Financial Director.  She also helped to produce A Dream Play and played the role of Stephanie  in Morning

Catherine Giddings (PRODUCER & DRAMATURG) is Egg & Spoon's Associate Artistic Director and co-founder of Play Readers Collective. Catherine adapted and directed A Dream Play and helped to produce Morning. Additional producing credits include Pterodactyls123, and Open Box Night at Syracuse University.
